New Sewer Goes Down the Drain

The project to create nine new sewer connections on Hill Street in Danville has been canceled. Currently, residents there have their own private septic systems, but the selectboard thought that it would be possible to connect them to the public sewers at an affordable cost.

According to Town Administrator Mert Leonard, the cost estimate that they received was much larger than expected.
