NEK Kids Start the Halloween Spirit
Thursday, October 29th, 2009
Darth Vader was spotted walking the streets of Lyndonville Wednesday morning, a true confirmation that the Halloween spirit has arrived.
Children from the Northeast Kingdom gathered with their parents at the Darling Inn to listen to spooky stories, a change from their usual weekly story hour.
The event was set up by the Cobleigh Public Library, which was the next stop for an arts and crafts session. It was a great turnout for what is just the beginning of festivities for the upcoming Halloween weekend.
"Twenty five children came today. They come from all over, not just Lyndonville but surrounding towns like St. Johnsbury, Wheelock, Sheffield, Burke, and Danville", said Tina Archilles, Cobleigh Staff.
