If you are over 50 years old and you have a love of learning, then you're in for a treat. The Osher Lifelong Learning series in Saint Johnsbury will be continuing.

Bernard Osher was someone interested in continuing education. His foundation offered a grant to the University of Vermont in hopes of organizing a statewide learning program. Saint Johnsbury is one of a few venues one can find the series.

For almost 10 years community members have been attending lectures and presentations by local experts on subjects pertinent to the Northeast Kingdom.

The spring series will begin March 25, 2010 and will follow the theme of "Masters Among Us".

Osher membership is $40.00 a semester or $5.00 a lecture. They run every Thursday afternoon at 1:30pm at the Catamount Arts Theater in Saint Johnsbury.
