Lyndon Institute will be hosting a fashion show Friday night at 7:00 pm.

For the first time in 15 years the school is providing a fashion design class for their students.

Tara Lynn Scheidet, the teacher of the class, has been in the fashion business for over 15 years.

With the show only one-day away students were working quickly to get their dresses finished for the runway.

One student is creating a dress just for a friend and she also spoke about the benefits of having a class with the tools that this one provides. Haley Zola had this to say,

"It helps out because sometimes you need to sew things together and it's a lot of fun making things anyway so it'll help out later on when some one has kids and like wants to sew up a hole in their pants or something...that'll help."

Admission will be free for the show but donations will be taken and the proceeds will go to buying material for the program.
