The town of Kirby is eliminating their bus services to the Lyndon Town School, starting in the fall semester of 2010.

The bus service only transports to the Lyndon Town School, leaving the students in Waterford, Concord, Burke, and Peacham, to find their own way of transportation.

Kirby currently has 92 students in 16 different schools.

Lyndon is planning to ask voters to add a stop in Kirby to retain students at the Lyndon Town School.

This new plan is to make it fairer to taxpayers of Kirby.

Kirby school board will save $40,370, just by eliminating the service.

Miles Etter, Kirby school board member explains.
