Mary Knott
Some people may have trouble admitting or diagnosing themselves with a state of depression.  But many suffer from this illness for one reason or another.

On the corner of prospect and Main Street in St. Johnsbury there is a weekly seminar to help those affected by depression. Mary Knott, who suffered from depression herself, has been putting on seminars since 2006. Wednesday's session addressed the issue that the food a person eats may be catalyst of ones depression. Mary claims it is important to consume to-fu and reduce meat in your diet to help your body get the nutrients it needs. She also spoke of a woman who followed her program with success. If you would like to join these seminars they meet every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The program takes two months to complete and each week the meeting will discuss various tools to help battle depression.
