Costly Updates

Residents of Lyndonville might be digging deeper into their wallets to help with their water supply. The Lyndonville water plant needs to have some updates on the structure of the plant itself, and town manager Dan Hill, finds that with each passing week the plant’s problems only continue to worsen.
“Almost on a weekly basis now something is either failing or getting ready to fail and it’s starting to get really expensive to maintain the plant. Plus its labor intensive not running the plant but making repairs”.
The town will be spearheading a project that will cost around 4.7 million dollars, with the town paying nearly 25 percent. Dan Hill also stated that if the plant is not repaired it would end up costing more money in the long run.
