College Republican Works Hard Despite Loss

Kleinhans
At just nineteen and a sophomore at Lyndon State College, John Kleinhans is recognized as one of the top college republicans in the nation. This past weekend Kleinhans was unsuccessful in his attempt to become the next Secretary of the Vermont Republican Party, losing to Rob Roper.  Just recently Kleinhans was elected to be Vice Chairman of the Caledonia Country Republicans and Secretary of the Lyndon Republican Town Committee.
Even though Kleinhans lost the race, he is going to continue to do what he has been doing, “Just keep working hard, the one thing we are going to do right now is continue to build the college republican base we stared last year with only five members in the entire state and now five active chapters with over one-hundred active members”.
In conjunction with the state of Vermont, Kleinhans help to launch a Vermont Republican Party internship program.
