This month is national library week and poetry month, and the St. Johnsbury Athenaeum hosted a writing event. Local writers, poets, teachers, journalists, and singers gathered at the Athenaeum on Wednesday night to celebrate national library week and poetry month. Eighteen writers expressed their own work in a variety of powerful texts. Bill Biddle who is a writer as well as a Lyndon State College Professor said, "this is a wonderful event. We've done it in the past this is the best one we've had yet. It was pretty good, and I look forward to next year's." The author's pieces captured emotions of passed experiences and moved the audience in St. Johnsbury.
