Mahatma Ghandi once said, "You must be the change you want to see in the world." Steve Gray, a local resident of Lyndonville, has taken this message to heart helping out the Lyndon community one recyclable at a time.

It all started in 1990, while Gray was a student at Lyndon State College. He, and some like minded folks, started the recycling program on campus and as a result the Lyndon State community has been recycling ever since.

According to togethergreen.org, recycling saves natural resources, landfill space and energy.

One man can only do so much, but by Gray assisting and teaching the community the "dos and don'ts" of recycling he feels that the community can make a difference.

News7's Chris Shadrock alongside photojournalist Paul Thibeault tell you how this one man is making a big difference.
