PEACHAM - The town of Peacham is in the process of purchasing a new truck.

On February 16, the Selectboard decided to trade their low profile truck and the six-wheel dump truck for a new ten-wheel dump truck.  The town received a loan through the Vermont Municipal Equipment Fund to help buy the new vehicle.

The Selectboard said that the older and smaller trucks did not hold enough sand to cover a full route, a problem that the new truck would solve. The Selectboard is hoping to have the new addition by the first week of April.
