In the high school sports world...

Lyndon Institute softball and baseball team will take on the Milton yellow jackets today at 4:30 p.m. It will be a home game but the baseball team will not yet play on their new field. The true home opener will be this Saturday against Randolph at 11:00 a.m.

The St. Johnsbury Hilltoppers have a lot of games being played today. The baseball team started off with a loss at the hands of Spaulding and they will look to right the ship at Mt. Abraham. First pitch will be thrown at 4:30 p.m. The softball team will play at the same place same time and look to start the season with two victories. Also the boy's lacrosse team will try to achieve a one and one record when they host Lamoille today at 4:00 p.m.

Finally the Danville Indians softball team has a home game against Concord today at 4:00 p.m.
