Sandy Bissex Finishing A Project

Sandy Bissex, Sumi INC. Artist believes that when she is working on her artwork, it becomes a non-verbal connection with God.

When starting a new project, whether it is a collage or brushwork, she just goes with the flow. She lets the artwork take over, and then she experiments with it, and transforms it into something. Bissex told News 7 that, "I love it. I loose track of time and I love that. My creative process is mostly intuitive".

She has been an exhibiting artist since 1999, and since then has been taking workshops at community colleges. For the last 4 years, Bissex has been studying drawing.

She enjoys the different manifestations of 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional artwork.
