EAST BURKE - The Community Library shows off some artwork at their ongoing exhibit.

The exhibit features work from 20 different artists who were asked to show three of their best paintings, for the opportunity to sell them.

There is an array of paintings on display including one from the 1850s that Library Coordinator Charlotte Downs says means the most to her. She goes on to say, "The one that belongs to burke mountain club has been here forever and the story behind it of the tree was planted by one person in the family and another person and then painted the scene in the same family and then down the generations another person gave it to the burke mountain club."
